IT Systems Support Administrator
Summary
We are seeking an IT Systems Support Administrator to provide hands-on technical support for employees across multiple company locations. This role will support workplace technology, resolve escalated technical issues, assist with IT projects and deployments, and serve as a technical resource for employees and site leadership. This position will support Windows, macOS, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, and other workplace technologies. Regular travel to company locations across multiple states is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced desktop and deskside support for employees.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, connectivity, and workstation issues.
- Support Windows and macOS computers, as well as Android and iOS mobile devices.
- Administer and troubleshoot macOS devices, applications, operating systems, and software deployments.
- Support Microsoft 365 including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange distribution lists, and mailbox delegation.
- Support users and computers within Active Directory.
- Serve as an escalation point for LeveL1 technical support issues.
- Provide professional, white-glove technical support for executives and senior leaders.
- Travel to assigned locations for onsite support, projects, technology upgrades, and site assessments.
- Support hardware and software deployments, lifecycle projects, and technology refreshes.
- Track and maintain IT hardware assets across assigned locations.
- Support audio and visual technology and coordinate solutions with vendors.
- Assist with network and infrastructure projects alongside other IT teams.
- Gather technical requirements and help identify solutions for business needs.
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, processes, and technical procedures.
- Support technology needs for company meetings and other business-critical events.
- Build strong relationships with employees, site leadership, vendors, and IT teams.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of desktop, deskside, systems support, or related IT experience.
- Extensive experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows environments.
- Experience supporting macOS computers, iPhones, and iPads.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory.
- Strong hardware, software, and connectivity troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting employees through in-person, phone, chat, and email channels.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical information in simple terms.
- Ability to document technical processes and troubleshooting steps.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Ability to travel regularly to company locations across multiple states.
Preferred
- Experience supporting IT projects, deployments, or technology refreshes.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Access, or other database technologies.
