Description

The Solution Architect, Finance Systems is a senior technical authority for Tungsten Automation's NetSuite platform. You will help set the architectural direction for our global finance operations in NetSuite and influence how Salesforce, Pigment, Boomi, Informatica, and other adjacent systems fit together with NetSuite as the business scales. In this role, you will be responsible for our tech roadmap, driving operational efficiencies and enabling Finance's strategic vision.

This role combines the depth of a senior NetSuite administrator with the skills of an experienced NetSuite developer. You will guide design decisions that affect NetSuite and influence the systems integrated with it, while still getting into the configuration and code yourself. On a given day that could mean a design session with Finance leadership in the morning and debugging in the afternoon. You will also mentor administrators and developers on the team and help define the standards they build to.

Key Responsibilities

· Own the end-to-end architecture of the finance systems landscape, with NetSuite OneWorld as the system of record for multi-subsidiary accounting.

· Guide design decisions for changes that touch NetSuite, including the upstream and downstream effects on integrated systems, reporting, and the period-end close.

· Partner with Accounting, Finance, and IT leadership to shape the finance systems roadmap and align it with long-term business goals.

· Produce solution designs, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications for major enhancements before build begins.

· Evaluate build versus buy options, including third-party apps, SuiteApps, and new NetSuite modules, and recommend the approach that best fits our scale and support model.

· Define the integration strategy between NetSuite and connected platforms such as Salesforce, Pigment, Boomi, SAP Concur, HRIS, banking, and our data warehouse.

· Set standards for sync logic, error handling, retry behavior, and monitoring so integrations stay reliable across subsidiaries and currencies.

· Diagnose cross-system issues where integration writes interact with native NetSuite behavior such as tax calculation, revenue arrangements, and scripted triggers.

· Design, build, and maintain complex SuiteScript 2.x solutions (user event, scheduled, map/reduce, Suitelets, RESTlets) alongside SuiteFlow workflows.

· Perform hands-on configuration of forms, fields, records, roles, saved searches, and SuiteAnalytics workbooks.

· Architect solutions across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report, including Advanced Revenue Management, SuiteTax, Intercompany, and Fixed Assets.

· Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues and lead root cause analysis on recurring problems.

· Serve as technical lead for large implementations, module rollouts, and third-party integrations, managing scope, timelines, and implementation partners.

· Put validation rules and data governance in place to protect data integrity across NetSuite and its integrated systems.

· Lead the evaluation and adoption of AI capabilities within finance systems, including NetSuite's native AI features and AI connectors that work with ERP data, with appropriate controls in place.
