Description

Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for a Senior Application Delivery & Edge Security Engineer to support enterprise application delivery, network security, and edge platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • The role focuses on hands-on engineering, operational support, security, resiliency, and application onboarding across load balancer, WAF, CDN, DNS, and edge security technologies.
  • Configure, maintain, and support application delivery controllers, WAF, CDN, and edge security platforms, including F5, A10, Cloudflare, and Akamai.
  • Support application onboarding, migrations, traffic management, resiliency, and capacity planning.
  • Partner with network, security, and application teams to implement consistent security and operational controls.
  • Troubleshoot complex Layer 1 7 issues involving DNS, TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, load balancing, WAF, and CDN traffic flows.
  • Implement security best practices, configuration standards, monitoring, change controls, and platform policies.
  • Participate in on-call support, high-priority incident response, and off-hours maintenance activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, audit evidence, and remediation plans.
  • Provide technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to engineering teams.
  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools consistently to improve engineering, troubleshooting, documentation, analysis, and delivery productivity.
Skills Must have Mandatory Skills
  • F5, A10, WAF, CDN, Cloudflare, Akamai, Application Delivery Controllers, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, Network Security, Application Security, Load Balancing, AWS/Azure/GCP, OWASP, Incident Management, Enterprise AI Tools
  • Mandatory Skills Description:
  • 5+ years of enterprise experience supporting application delivery controllers and edge platforms such as F5, A10, AVI, Citrix, Cloudflare, or Akamai.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of WAF, CDN, load balancing, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, routing, switching, and application security, including OWASP Top Ten mitigations.
  • Experience supporting and securing cloud-native applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Ability to troubleshoot complex application delivery and security issues across Layers 1 7 and support production incidents within defined SLAs.
  • Expected to maintain at least 90% weekly usage of enterprise-approved AI tools, including GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other approved GenAI platforms, to enhance engineering productivity and delivery quality.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description
  • Experience with AVI or Citrix application delivery platforms, scripting and automation, infrastructure/platform automation, security assessments and audits, capacity planning, and large-scale application migrations.
  • Experience using AI-assisted workflows for troubleshooting, automation, documentation, and operational analysis is preferred.
