Job TitleRequired Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Information SystemsRequired Skills & Experience:Knowledge - Ability to understand requirements from business users.Solid understanding of basic software and hardware concepts.Ability to effectively and concisely communicate with the business through verbal, written, and face-to-face communication.Competent in the use of Word, Excel, Visio, and other tools that would be used for documentation purposes.Proven ability to work well individually and within the team environment; sharing decision-making with teammates as appropriate.Proven strong meeting facilitation skills.Ability to develop relationships with the user community and IT personnel, exercising strong interpersonal skills.Engineering or related field, plus a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience with computer systemsRequired Experience:Responsible for system monitoring and reporting activities related to the enterprise computing systems.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: configuring monitoring tools, monitoring performance of key hosts and services, assisting in actions to resolve issues, and writing scripts for process automation.Maintain documentation for monitoring system software and hardware.Work with Reliability Specialist and Reliability Engineer(s).Job Responsibilities:Monitors the enterprise computing systems, networks, and applications within the production and quality assurance environments.Conducts application and infrastructure availability checks and provides status reports.Configures monitoring tools to include establishing notifications for alerts, tickets, and logs.Assists in taking appropriate action to resolve simple issues. May require Level 2 or Reliability Engineer assistance to solve complex issues.Assists in writing scripts or utilizing software tools to automate processes if possible.Opens, updates, and closes Incident Reports (IR) according to established standards.Assists in the investigation and/or the resolution of problems that caused Incidents, within the scope of responsibilities.Maintains monitoring documentation to include monitoring standard operating procedures (SOP).Follows the documented handover process to bring the next monitoring shift up to speed and highlights priority items or issues.**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
