Akkodis is seeking an IT Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise IT systems, infrastructure documentation, stakeholder coordination, support model transitions, and governance initiatives.

Rate Range: $78/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IT Project Manager Job Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the discovery, documentation, and management of enterprise IT systems by creating a comprehensive inventory that captures system ownership, business purpose, hosting models, integrations, licensing information, and data flows.

• Develop and maintain architecture and configuration documentation, including network topologies, firewall configurations, VPN connectivity, authentication models, user access structures, role definitions, and operational dependencies.

• Coordinate data protection and compliance activities by documenting data processing requirements, data classifications, retention policies, privacy controls, and regulatory compliance evidence.

• Build and maintain stakeholder maps that clearly identify business owners, technical owners, security teams, data protection contacts, procurement stakeholders, support teams, and escalation paths.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise IT projects involving infrastructure governance, service management, operational transitions, and technology integration initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, networking concepts, identity and access management, security controls, and infrastructure documentation practices.

• Experience developing operational processes, support models, runbooks, transition plans, service management frameworks, and governance documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting global organizations with complex enterprise application landscapes and cross-functional technology ecosystems.

• Knowledge of GDPR requirements, Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), data protection frameworks, and cross-border data transfer considerations.

• Familiarity with TISAX, information security governance, risk assessments, compliance documentation, and operational audit support activities.

• Experience managing IT service transitions, enterprise support organizations, service desk integrations, and operational transformation initiatives.

• Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or other recognized project delivery credentials are highly desirable.

Pay Details: $78.00 to $80.00 per hour
