Job DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated Drywall Project Manager to join our growing construction team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and multi-family construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal framing, construction scheduling, change order management, budget forecasting, and drywall. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of drywall projects, from initial planning and estimating to procurement, scheduling, and final delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of drywall projects, including metal framing, construction scheduling, change order management, and budget forecasting.
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring that all materials are ordered and delivered on schedule.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and clients to ensure that all project requirements are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring that all work is carried out according to specifications.
- Track submittals and manage RFIs, ensuring that all information is accurately recorded and communicated.
- Administer contracts, ensuring that all work is carried out according to agreed terms and conditions.
- Use Procore and Bluebeam software to manage projects and communicate with team members.
- Oversee the work of construction crews, ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard of quality and safety.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on drywall projects.
- Proven experience in metal framing, construction scheduling, change order management, and budget forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and multi-family construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Excellent project coordination and construction estimating skills.
- Proven experience in procurement, RFI management, submittal tracking, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam software.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
