    Pay Range: $60 - $70/hr


    Description:

    We are seeking an experienced Site MES IT Coordinator / MES Support Lead to support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation, site readiness, go-live, hypercare, and ongoing production support within a manufacturing environment. This role serves as the primary liaison between business users, Global MES teams, IT, Infrastructure, ERP, offshore development teams, vendors, and implementation partners. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with MES platforms, manufacturing operations, production support, incident management, and cross-functional project coordination.


    Role and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary site-level IT coordinator for MES implementation and support.
  • Coordinate MES project lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, go-live, hypercare, and steady-state support.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Validation, MSAT, Global MES, ERP, Infrastructure, vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Support business process reengineering and MES template alignment.
  • Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate infrastructure readiness including shop floor devices, printers, scanners, terminals, user access, and network connectivity.
  • Support compliance, Computer System Validation (CSV), SOPs, work instructions, user guides, and training documentation.
  • Manage incident, problem, change, and release coordination.
  • Perform issue tracking, escalation management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and resolution follow-up.
  • Coordinate L2/L3 production support activities.
  • Manage service requests, support tickets, SLAs, and stakeholder communications.
  • Create performance reports, dashboards, and service metrics.
  • Maintain knowledge base documentation and support catalogs.
  • Coordinate application upgrades, maintenance, and release activities.
  • Lead critical incident management and customer escalations.
  • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge transfer.

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Experience supporting MES implementations within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or life sciences environments.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with offshore development teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITIL/ITSM best practices is preferred.
