Overview:

BerryDunn, Northern New England's largest Accounting, Management, and Information Technology Consulting Firm, is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Technology Administrative Assistant to support internal IT Operations. This role serves as a key front-line resource for employee technology support and contributes to IT service delivery, asset management, and administrative operations at our Portlandheadquarters.

 

At BerryDunn, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with highly skilled employees in a dynamic team environment, working on cutting-edge technologies and projects. This full-time position is based at our Portland, ME headquarters, and reports to the Desktop Support Manager.

You Will:

Service Desk & Customer Support

  • Manage the walk-up service counter in the Portland office, providing general support to employees and demonstrating a strong ability to understand and meet customer needs, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Triage and dispatch calls to the appropriate IT staff.
  • Create, assign, and update tickets for calls and walk-up service.

Asset & Inventory Management

  • Coordinate distribution, return, and tracking of IT equipment.
  • Prepare, provision, and deploy laptops for employees.
  • Process returned equipment and manage life-cycle updates.
  • Submit warranty claims for damaged hardware.
  • Maintain loaner equipment inventory.
  • Track software licensing inventory.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Generate reports for IT hardware, software, and service systems.
  • Support on-boarding and firm initiatives.
  • Serve as liaison between IT and departments.
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge resources.
  • Coordinate IT meetings and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with the Technology team and other stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned.
You Have:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on execution and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 core applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with ticketing and inventory tools.
  • Experience in IT support or administrative role.
  • High School Diploma/GED
Compensation Details:

The hourly rate for this role is $24-$26 per hour. This rate range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final rate may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The hourly rate for the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
