Inventory Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee warehouse inventory operations and ensure accurate, efficient movement of parts and materials. This hands-on leadership role will manage inventory levels, replenishment, vendor ordering, warehouse processes, and inventory KPIs while supporting field operations and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inventory KPIs, including inventory turns, balances, accuracy, and replenishment levels.
Place vendor orders and manage purchase orders within the ERP system.
Oversee receiving, shipping documentation, and inventory transfers between locations.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
Manage cycle counts and physical inventory processes.
Maintain appropriate MIN/MAX inventory and replenishment levels for key parts.
Oversee warranty, returns, and core management processes.
Support truck and bin inventory replenishment for field operations.
Maintain inventory controls and chain-of-custody procedures to minimize loss.
Lead and support warehouse material handlers and inventory clerks.
Partner with Operations and other departments to ensure inventory availability.
Qualifications
3+ years of warehouse inventory management experience.
Experience with vendor ordering, purchasing, and inventory replenishment.
At least 1 year of experience using a major ERP system such as SAP, Vision, Microsoft, or Acumatica.
Strong knowledge of purchase orders, cycle counts, physical inventory, warranties, returns, and inventory reporting.
Experience managing truck or bin replenishment demand.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
Field services, service operations, or similar industry experience preferred.
Experience managing 500+ SKUs and approximately $1M+ in inventory preferred.
