Qualifications: Proven experience in inventory management, financial analysis, or a similar role. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and inventory management software. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

 

Physical Requirements: This position works in a typical office setting, but may be exposed to extreme temperatures in a warehouse setting. There may be extended periods of sitting, standing. and/or bending; listening, talking and/or visual concentration; writing and/or computer use.

This position would normally have routine opportunities to alter physical position or change eye focus. Lifting should not normally exceed 30 pounds.

 

Position Summary: The Inventory Financial Specialist is responsible for managing and analyzing inventory financial data to ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Inventory Management

  • Review product numbers and vendor/donor records ensuring
  • Assist in researching inventory
  • Assist in researching Agency order/payment
  • Review inventory receipts ensuring
  • Monitor flow of inventory within the Food Bank ensuring accurate tracking and processing of goods.
  • Assist in review and implementation of inventory and receiving
  • Reconcile monthly
  • Assist with physical inventory /cycle count
  • Support month-end closing
  • Utilize inventory management software and financial systems to track and report inventory data.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, purchasing, and finance

 

Internal Controls: Adheres to internal reporting procedures to safeguard organizational assets and ensures accurate financial reporting.

 

Audit Coordination: Assists with a11 financial and inventory audits.
