Intervention Specialist – K–6 | Full-Time

EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated
Intervention Specialist for a full-time opportunity supporting students in a K–6 school program in Cleveland, Ohio.
The program serves approximately 12–15 students receiving special education services. We are looking for an educator who can provide individualized instruction, support student growth, and work collaboratively with school staff to help students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide specialized instruction and interventions based on students' individual learning needs.
- Adapt instructional strategies and materials to support academic progress.
- Monitor student performance, maintain accurate records, and document progress toward IEP goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school administrators, related service providers, and families.
- Support students' academic, behavioral, social, and developmental needs.
- Maintain a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license appropriate for the assignment.
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
- Ability to provide specialized instruction and support students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Experience supporting elementary-age students in grades K–6.
- Previous experience in a school-based special education setting.
