What You'll Do
  • Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care to patients in a community hospital setting
  • Manage a patient load of approximately 12-15 per day, including new and established cases
  • Handle light call duties via beeper, responding within a 1-hour window (~2-5 calls/week)
  • Collaborate with a team of 3 established HemOnc providers, RNs, PAs/NPs, and staff
  • Utilize EMR system (Aria) for documentation and patient management
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and follow-up
What You Need
  • Active VA medical license
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with fellowship in Hematology & Oncology
  • Minimum 1-year experience in hematology/oncology preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex patient cases
