What You'll Do
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care to patients in a community hospital setting
- Manage a patient load of approximately 12-15 per day, including new and established cases
- Handle light call duties via beeper, responding within a 1-hour window (~2-5 calls/week)
- Collaborate with a team of 3 established HemOnc providers, RNs, PAs/NPs, and staff
- Utilize EMR system (Aria) for documentation and patient management
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and follow-up
What You Need
- Active VA medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with fellowship in Hematology & Oncology
- Minimum 1-year experience in hematology/oncology preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex patient cases
