Position Highlights:
- Full time Internal Medicine Facility Position at The Jewish Hospital - Mercy Health (4777 Each Galbraith Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45236)
- Provide comprehensive patient-centered medical care in diverse settings including inpatient and outpatient
- Devote a significant portion of their entire effort to resident and medical student education and/or administration, to include teaching, evaluation, supervision, and provision of formative feedback to residents and medical students.
- Serve as advisor, role model, teacher and mentor to residents and medical students.
- Inspire continuous development and evaluation of the educational curriculum to assure the most effective and progressive methods are utilized to optimize residents maximum learning potential.
- Developing, implementing, and assessing the development of a comprehensive internal medicine curriculum to, at a minimum, meet ACGME requirements for internal medicine residency education. This will include, but not be limited to, clinical precepting, didactic sessions, and recorded lectures.
- Assessment of the residents progress toward achievement of competency in Internal Medicine.
- Engagement in quality improvement and scholarly activities. Serving on the Core Competency Committee and Program Evaluation Committee for the Residency program.
Qualifications:
- Must possess current certification in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM)
- A minimum of 3 years of documented educational and/or administrative experience preferred
- Experience must include ongoing clinical activity
- Be willing to combine administrative and didactic (teaching) responsibilities
- Have strong administrative and team building skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
