Job Description

The Interior Project Manager - Office Interiors - Gaithersburg will be responsible for:

  • Managing multiple interior construction projects simultaneously through all phases of delivery.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, design teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Leading projects from conception through closeout while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Facilitating Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and provide regular project updates.
  • Reviewing, negotiating, and approving change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinating closely with Assistant Project Managers, Project Accountants, field teams, and subcontractors.
  • Monitoring project financial performance, schedules, procurement, and risk management activities.
  • Ensuring project documentation is maintained accurately within Procore and company systems.
  • Working collaboratively with internal estimating and preconstruction teams during project planning.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service while fostering long-term client relationships.

The Successful Applicant

The Interior Project Manager - Office Interiors - Gaithersburg should have:

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction.
  • Experience managing office interiors, tenant improvements, or healthcare construction projects.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
  • Experience leading client-facing communications and stakeholder meetings.
  • Proven ability to manage projects ranging from approximately £100K to £5M in value.
  • Experience reviewing and approving change orders.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and construction operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Procore.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Honest, inquisitive, and solutions-oriented approach to project management.
