CFS has partnered with a Boston-based nonprofit organization in search of an Accounting Manager to join their team.

The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, and strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
• 
  
• Prepare monthly financial statements and support budget-to-actual reporting.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting requirements.
• 
  
• Coordinate annual audit activities and maintain internal controls.
• 
  
• Track and report on restricted funds, grants, and donor contributions.
• 
  
• Supervise and develop accounting staff.
• 
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Experience owning month-end close.
• 
  
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred.
• 
  

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $115,000
