Responsibilities:
  • Manage the client intake process, including collecting and verifying patient information and documentation
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with clinical staff to maintain an efficient calendar
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries
  • Verify insurance eligibility and assist clients with benefit and coverage questions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline office workflows
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical office, behavioral health, or healthcare administrative role
  • Familiarity with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and medical billing basics
  • Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and standard office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
