Intake Coordinator / Admissions Coordinator
Location: Hewlett, NY (permanent office expected within 20 minutes of West Hempstead, NY)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM preferred (3:00 PM - 8:00 PM may be considered)
Compensation: $29-32/hour ($66,560 annually) + performance-based bonus opportunity
Type: Direct Hire | Fully Onsite

A growing home care organization is seeking an energetic and motivated Intake Coordinator / Admissions Coordinator to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, speaking with clients, and working toward measurable goals.

This is a unique opportunity that blends client coordination, admissions, and sales. You will manage warm inbound leads, guide prospective clients through the enrollment process, and play a key role in driving growth. There is no cold calling required.

Responsibilities

• 
  Manage inbound calls and inquiries from prospective clients and families
  
• 
  Build relationships and guide clients through the admissions process
  
• 
  Follow up with leads and help convert inquiries into new admissions
  
• 
  Collect client information and coordinate onboarding documentation
  
• 
  Assist with insurance verification, authorizations, and service coordination
  
• 
  Communicate with internal teams and caregivers to support smooth client transitions
  
• 
  Maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service
  

Qualifications

• 
  1+ years of experience in admissions, intake, sales, customer service, healthcare coordination, or a related role
  
• 
  Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  
• 
  Comfortable handling high call volume and working toward goals
  
• 
  Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  
• 
  Home care or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
