Insurance Prior Authorization Representative

• High School Diploma
• Prior Authorization experience highly preferred

• Reviews clinical documentation from physical therapists and physicians to ensure compliance with insurance guidelines and medical necessity requirements
• Maintains knowledge of changing insurance policies, payer requirements, and industry regulations
• Conducts pre-reviews of evaluations for the sales team to identify potential authorization concerns
• Completes orders within 24 hours of entering the queue
• Submits authorization requests to insurance providers, including reviewing quotes, supporting documentation, and medical necessity qualifications
• Achieves departmental productivity and quality expectations
• Performs additional duties as assigned
