Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required
Overview:
The Insurance Authorization Representative will report to the Pre-Authorization Manager and will be responsible for working a set number of claims each day. Claim type may vary from verification to pre-authorization. Below are some key functions and skills for this opportunity:
Meet daily production requirements.
Ensure accounts are updated and noted as they are worked
Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and empathy
Updates and maintains patient information in databases
Tracks information and complete reports when required
Comply with all aspects of compliance
Job Knowledge and Requirements:
Basic computer skills including but not limited to data entry, email, and internet
Ability to communicate telephonically
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, be detail oriented and organized
