We are seeking an associate for our litigation practice group to handle general liability cases including commercial and umbrella policies involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, HOA, in a fast-paced and highly demanding atmosphere.ResponsibilitiesHandling cases from preparing responsive pleadings to trialPropounding and responding to discoveryMedical record review and summarizationConducting depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and expertsAttend court hearingsPrepare motions and oppositionsPrepare case status reports to carriersTrial preparationCo-counsel at trialQualificationsPrior insurance defense experience preferred but not requiredDriven, self-starter, able to independently manage a caseloadStrong litigation skills including discovery, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation backgroundNew admittees encouraged to apply and can be a great fitWork well under strict deadlinesAbility to multitask effectivelyReliable and able to work a caseload independently under the supervision of a firm partnerWilling to train the right individualExcellent oral advocacy and written communication skills requiredIndividuals wanting to take their career to the next level with a reputable trial firm welcomed to applySalarySalary based on experience level#J-18808-Ljbffr
