Attorneys in this position are entrusted with managing their own matters while working closely with experienced litigators and trial attorneys. There is a clear opportunity for first‑ and second‑chair trial experience.The position is based in Irvine, CA, with regular travel to Los Angeles and surrounding counties, and occasional travel to central and northern California for court appearances, depositions, and site inspections.What You Will DoManage complex insurance defense litigation matters from inception through trialDraft pleadings, discovery, law and motion, and Case Management OrdersAppear in court and handle hearings and procedural mattersTake and defend depositions, including expert depositionsCoordinate with clients, insurance carriers, and expert witnessesAnalyze case strategy and provide detailed reporting to carriersAttend site inspections and support all phases of trial preparationParticipate in first and second-chair trial opportunitiesWhat You BringActive California Bar license in good standingMinimum of 5 years of insurance defense litigation experienceStrong analytical, legal writing, and research skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating within a team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsComfort managing a fast paced litigation docket with autonomyWillingness to travel as required for litigation needsCompensation and BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 DOE, representing the firm's good faith minimum and maximum range at the time of posting.
