Personal Lines Insurance Agent – Dallas, TX
A well-established and growing insurance agency in the Dallas area is looking for a sales-driven, licensed Personal Lines Agent to join their team. This direct hire role is built for someone who thrives on generating new business and closing sales — not just maintaining an existing book. You'll hold a Texas P&C license and bring a hunter's mentality to growing the agency's client base.
This is primarily a sales role: prospecting, quoting, and closing new personal lines business (auto, home, and related coverages), with some account servicing along the way to keep clients happy and coming back.
What You'll Do
- Actively sell personal lines policies — auto, home, and related coverages — to new and prospective clients
- Prospect and generate new business through referrals, cross-selling, and lead follow-up
- Identify client needs and close sales by recommending the right coverage
- Build a strong pipeline and consistently work toward sales goals
- Service existing accounts and manage renewals as needed to support retention
What You'll Need
- Current Texas P&C insurance license (required)
- Prior insurance sales experience required
- Open to earning a Texas Life & Health license
- Strong sales instincts, communication skills, and a competitive drive
- Comfortable working full-time in an in-office setting
Schedule & Location
- Fully on-site in Dallas, TX
- Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
