Description

Looking for a job that actually goes somewhere?

We’re a small, independent insurance agency in Pasadena that helps local businesses and families protect what they’ve built. We’re hiring an Administrative Assistant who wants to learn, grow and build a real career, and we’ll pay for the training to get you there.

 No insurance experience? No problem.

Within your first six months, we’ll help you earn your California Property & Casualty license, and we cover 100% of the cost:

Paid exam prep course (one week) plus a three-day review before test day

All state exam, licensing and fingerprinting fees

A mentor in your corner from day one

A license is a credential you keep for your whole career. It opens doors to roles like Account Manager and Producer, and to higher earning potential as you grow.

What your day looks like

Being the friendly first voice our clients hear, on the phone and over email

Keeping the office organized: scheduling, emails, filing and mail

Helping the team stay on top of deadlines and follow-ups

Pulling together info and simple reports

Learning the insurance side of the business hands-on as you go

You might be a great fit if you…

Like being organized and the person who keeps things on track

Communicate clearly and enjoy helping people

Are comfortable with Outlook, Word and Excel, and quick to pick up new software

Want a career path, not just a paycheck

Have some office, customer service, retail or admin experience (a plus, but not required)

What’s in it for you

$21–$24/hour, with regular reviews and room to grow

Free licensing and ongoing training

Health insurance with 50% of premiums paid by the company

Optional dental, vision and supplemental cancer coverage

2 weeks of paid vacation, plus paid sick and personal days

Free parking, so no circling the block or paying for a spot

Monthly team lunches where we celebrate everyone’s birthdays and work anniversaries

Annual holiday celebrations and team events

A small team where people know your name and your work matters

How to apply (it’s quick)

Apply with your resume. A cover letter is optional, but we’d love to hear why this caught your eye.

If it’s a match, we’ll invite you in to meet the team.
