Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, maintaining strong client relationships
- Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and changes in a timely and accurate manner
Client & Carrier Coordination
- Identify and assess clients' insurance needs, recommending appropriate coverage options
- Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to secure optimal coverage and rates
- Resolve client inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency
Business Development
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell insurance products
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide informed advice
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably as an account executive or similar role
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and underwriting processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
- Proficiency in insurance management software and tools
