Job Summary:
This position provides genetic counseling services for clinical patients with genetic and metabolic diseases to the population of the States of Colorado. It is associated with Children''s Hospital Colorado but also serves the University of Colorado Hospital on the Anschutz Medical Campus, as well as several affiliated community hospitals throughout the State.
The individual hired in this position will have an academic home in the Section of Genetics and Metabolism but will work primarily in the clinical operations of the Section of Developmental Pediatrics. They will report to both Section Heads, with administrative
supervision provided by Genetics & Metabolism and clinical (and if pertinent, research) supervision from the Head of the Section of Developmental Pediatrics or their delegate. The individual will work collaboratively with other faculty and care team members. The successful candidate will join a group of approximately 30 genetic counselors who work with both medical genetics and specialists in other areas, including regional satellite clinics.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
$80,000 - $94,000
The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
