Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Teacher Assistant to join our early childhood education team in Central Falls, RI. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants, helping to promote their development and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities tailored for infants.
• Provide attentive care and supervision to infants, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Support feeding, diapering, and nap routines according to individual infant needs.
• Engage with infants through age-appropriate play and developmental activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with lead teachers and parents regarding infant progress and needs.
• Observe and document infant behavior and developmental milestones as directed.

Qualifications

• Experience or training as an Infant Teacher Assistant or in early childhood education preferred.
• Strong understanding of infant care and developmental stages.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
