Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day field operations for industrial construction projects.
  • Lead subcontractors, self-perform crews, vendors, and project teams on-site.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules while driving production and milestone completion.
  • Coordinate all site activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Enforce safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture across all phases of construction.
  • Conduct daily coordination meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
  • Monitor quality control efforts and ensure work is installed according to project specifications.
  • Identify and resolve field challenges, constructability issues, and logistical constraints.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and client representatives.
  • Manage manpower planning, material deliveries, site logistics, and equipment utilization.
  • Support project planning efforts during preconstruction and project startup.
  • Maintain project documentation, field reports, inspections, and punch list activities.
  • Drive successful project turnover and client satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or Lead Superintendent.
  • Experience managing industrial construction projects, manufacturing facilities, process plants, distribution centers, energy facilities, or other technically complex construction work.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods.
  • Proven ability to lead subcontractors and field teams successfully.
  • Experience managing project schedules and coordinating multiple trades.
  • Demonstrated commitment to construction safety and jobsite leadership.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Stable employment history and a track record of successful project delivery.
