    Industrial Reliability Technician — Automotive Stamping

    Your impact areas

    • Reliability Maintenance: Execute preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance across stamping presses, transfer systems, conveyors, and automation.
    • Controls & Electrical: Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, electrical systems, motor controls, sensors, drives, and HMIs.
    • Multidisciplinary Repair: Resolve hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical failures quickly and thoroughly.
    • Technical Literacy: Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic diagrams to plan effective repairs.
    • Continuous Improvement: Perform root cause analysis and deploy corrective actions to reduce downtime and enhance reliability.
    • Subsystem Care: Maintain press feed and lubrication systems, die protection, and material handling equipment.
    • Instrumentation & Calibration: Install, test, and calibrate motors, VFDs, sensors, switches, and industrial control elements.
    • Documentation: Use a CMMS to complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
    • Projects: Support modifications, new installations, and plant-wide improvement initiatives.
    • Safety Leadership: Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and adhere to OSHA standards at all times.
    • Cross-Functional Teaming: Collaborate with production, engineering, and tooling to drive stable, high-throughput operations.

    Must-haves

    • High school diploma or GED (required); technical schooling or apprenticeship (preferred).
    • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
    • Experience with stamping presses, automated production, or automotive manufacturing (preferred).
    • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, VFDs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
    • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
    • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Availability for overtime, weekends, and off-shifts as needed.

    Stand-out qualifications

    • Allen-Bradley PLCs and FactoryTalk expertise.
    • Experience supporting robotic automation.
    • Journeyman Electrician, Industrial Maintenance, or related certification.
    • Welding and fabrication experience.
