    Automotive Technician – Job Description

    Job Title: Automotive Technician Location: Avon, Ohio Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 1st Shift

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and mechanically inclined Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with vehicles, automotive parts, hand tools, and general assembly. This position involves inspecting, assembling, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and automotive components while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform general automotive assembly, maintenance, and repair tasks.

    • Inspect vehicles and automotive components for damage, defects, or mechanical issues.

    • Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete assigned tasks.

    • Install, remove, and replace automotive parts and components.

    • Assist with vehicle modifications, accessories, and equipment installations.

    • Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and identify potential issues.

    • Follow work orders, instructions, and company procedures.

    • Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards.

    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

    • Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

    • Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines.

    Qualifications

    • Previous automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, or assembly experience preferred.

    • Basic knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and mechanical systems.

    • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.

    • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

    • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

    • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

    • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

    • Willingness to learn new skills and assist in different areas as needed.
