WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Providing leadership to Associates through daily supervision and interaction in a complex troubleshooting reactive maintenance environment by:

• Overseeing repairs and preventive maintenance on all injection molding equipment.
• Following preventive maintenance schedules and establishing preventive maintenance procedures.
• Monitoring production in order to reduce machine downtime.
• Promoting a safe and clean working environment.
• Provide leadership to associates through communication of expectations, employee feedback and teamwork.
• Helping to control manufacturing cost by tracking and monitoring machine downtime and reject trends to determine the root cause of the defects.
• Tracking inventory and requisitions of the maintenance supplies.
• Ensuring associates are safely following work instructions ISO procures.
• Determining budget for repair maintenance and ensure that repairs meet budgetary
• Training associates in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting repairs, injection processing and machine awareness in order to properly maintain the equipment.

HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years’ experience in injection molding manufacturing
• 2 years’ maintenance leadership
• Proficient in MS Office

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• General Office Environment (3) hours per day
• Manufacturing Environment (5) hour per day
• May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting pushing and pulling of equipment.
• May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required to perform essential functions at remote locations or receive training.
• Required to work overtime (unplanned and unscheduled) to meet customer deadlines and requirements.

HAZARDS:

• While performing the job the position is frequently exposed to moving or mechanical parts.
• Moderate noise levels with specific areas required to wear hearing protection.
