Description

Join our team as an Income Audit Supervisor in a fun, fast-paced environment with room to grow! The purpose of this position is to supervise the Income Audit staff, the revenue audit process, provide accounting and audit support to the Income Audit Manager.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.

Minimum Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Minimum three years of accounting and auditing gaming and non-gaming revenue required.

PREFERRED:

  • One-year supervisory experience in casino gaming, or hospitality preferred.

Additional education or related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements.

 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Supervision, training, and evaluation of Income Auditors.
  • Assign income audit work schedules, task assignments and monitor daily audit progress.
  • Review and distribute daily and monthly reports as requested.
  • Review audit spreadsheets for accuracy and prepare correcting journal entries.
  • Review drop box reconciliations, prepare worksheets and report variances to Income Audit Manager.
  • Prepare and issue gaming and non-gaming exceptions to departmental managers.
  • Research and resolve audit issues as they arise, submit to Income Audit Manager for approval.
  • Review monthly gaming machine and Table Games statistical analysis.
  • Provide audit procedural support by review and interpretation of accounting policies, gaming regulations and internal controls for gaming and non-gaming operations.
  • Comply with internal controls and procedures of the Emerald Queen Casino.
  • Recommend policy or procedural changes to Income Audit Manager.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, interface and management of computer-based systems for all revenue generating departments as requested.
  • Perform advanced level audits as requested.
  • Interface with external and internal auditors, and Tribal Gaming Agents.
  • Assist with all gaming and non-gaming audit functions.
  • Assists the Floor Managers in researching and resolving inquiries regarding patron transactions.

Additional Requirements: 

 Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
