TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER

Job Description:
Location:  This position is remote in the US only.   

What You Will Do
You play a central role in team operations, collaborating across multiple product and engineering teams to facilitate planning, create achievable delivery plans, manage execution against plan, mitigate risks, and support continuous improvement of delivery teams through agile retrospectives.
You will align stakeholders, partner teams, and engineering groups when navigating ambiguous requirements or conflicting priorities, ensuring momentum and shared success.

You will develop and maintain project schedules in partnership with key contributors, identify and communicate risks, define mitigation strategies, and facilitate issue resolution throughout the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Understand product functionality, engineering architecture, testing strategy, and business deadlines to help ensure all are aligned to achieve defined success criteria.
• Drive data driven culture by creating, implementing, and tracking key operational metrics that will drive quality, predictability, and backlog health.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to drive successful Product Increment and Sprint Planning activities that result in an achievable delivery plan with refined, estimated and committed work.
• Partner with adjacent teams and TPMs to ensure upstream and downstream dependencies are understood and incorporated into achievable delivery plans.
• Drive execution of delivery plans through sprint ceremonies, scrum of scrum activities, risk management, metric reporting and retrospectives that result in actionable changes to team operations.
• Ensure adherence to standards and passing audits for release management, incident management and security findings.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of technical program management experience, ideally supporting multiple teams across an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to dive into product backlog, technical architecture, and testing strategy to ensure alignment and delivery success.
• Demonstrated ability to drive adoption and utilize operational metrics to track and improve quality, predictability and backlog health.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage complex projects spanning multiple teams.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast?paced, entrepreneurial environment, effectively managing ambiguity, shifting priorities, and evolving business needs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to large groups and managing high?pressure communications with senior leadership.
• Detail?oriented, self?motivated, and consistently reliable in driving projects to completion.
• Strong influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to build productive relationships across teams.

Pay Range: $60.00 – $68.00 per hour, depending upon experience.
