Job Title: Implementation Manager
Location: Decatur, AL
Position Type: 12-Month Contract (W2 Hourly)
Pay Rate: Up to $62.00-75.00/hour (depending on experience) + Overtime Options
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking an experienced Implementation Manager for a 12-month contract assignment supporting the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant near Decatur, AL.
The Implementation Manager serves as the technical subject matter expert for field work job safety, execution requirements, financial planning, human performance, and operational risk.
Safety & Field Execution: Serve as SME for field work job safety, execution, human performance, and operational risk. Ensure field work activities comply with safety, standardization, quality, and housekeeping requirements.
Programmatic Requirements: Oversaw activities related to safety manuals, the fatigue rule, asbestos abatement, Appendix R, scaffolding, painting programs, etc.
Estimating & Financial Control: Perform or review conceptual, design, and implementation estimates for assigned work. Review work scope, costs, and schedules, providing status updates and early identification of problem areas.
Project & Design Implementation: Ensure design packages are implemented in a standard, fleet-consistent manner that meets quality, budget, and schedule targets. Develop implementation solutions ensuring ease of maintenance and operability.
Contractor & Vendor Management: Administer and manage all contractors performing services on assigned work. Provide approved work release forms prior to initiation, control spending, and issue work documents, funding estimates, and schedules.
Proposal & Scope Support: Review and provide recommendations for technical sections of proposals during competitive bidding. Develop and review change documents to secure approval for scope, funding, and schedule updates.
Field Observations & CAP: Perform field observations of work, document findings in the approved observation database, ensure issues are captured in CAP, and provide input for corrective actions.
Interdisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate with joint project/work teams across all phases. Present modification data/input during design review meetings and provide implementation input for project scoping documents and engineering studies.
Outage & Emergent Support: Support Outage or Project Control Centers and Emergent Issue Management. Serve as Contract Technical Steward (CTS) or Field Invoice Approver (FIA) as requested.
Meeting or exceeding ANSI/ANS 3.1-2014 standards:
Education & Baseline Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related science, completion of a 4-year craft apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in the nuclear power field.
Must include at least 2 years of power plant experience, 1 year of nuclear power plant experience, and 0.25 years (3 months) of on-site experience.
Nuclear Industry Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in nuclear plant modification, maintenance, design, operation, or quality assurance.
Leadership Experience: Prior supervisory experience in maintenance, modifications, projects, site services, or planning/technical activities.
Technical Knowledge:
Nondestructive testing (NDT) familiarity and craft knowledge.
Strong understanding of electrical, pressure vessel, and piping codes and standards.
Basic knowledge of engineering/maintenance principles and extensive knowledge of nuclear plant design and construction.
Certifications & Site Access Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain requirements for nuclear plant Unescorted Access (UAA).
Must complete requirements for TVA FLS and FLDP.
Willing and able to assume "on-call" rotational assignments (24/7 availability) and serve as Sr. Implementation Manager when requested.
