How you'll make an impact in this role

Ascension WI is seeking a candidate to enter a full-time, paid MRI technologist training program. This is a 12-18 month program in which candidates will work as a "Radiology Assistant" in an MRI department while completing on-line MRI didactics. All clinicals will be performed in an Ascension WI MRI department. Ascension pays for the TESLA academic program, candidates salary during lab, and clinical hours and the ARMRIT examination fees. In return, candidates will become Ascension associates honoring our Mission, Vision and Values.

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Capture diagnostic-grade images by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters to support accurate medical diagnoses.
• Safeguard patient and team safety by strictly upholding radiation protection standards and minimizing unnecessary exposure.
• Drive procedural efficiency by preparing equipment and assisting supervising technologists and physicians during complex imaging cases.
• Administer contrast media and medications safely and precisely in compliance with state and federal regulations to maintain seamless care continuity.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
