HVAC Service Manager - Mechanical Servicing Company - Base Salary to 175k/year - Gaithersburg, MD

• Our client, a well-known commercial/industrial mechanical servicing company, has an immediate need for a technically strong HVAC Service Manager. The HVAC Service Manager will lead commercial HVAC service operations in Gaithersburg, MD, supporting customers throughout Maryland and Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a commercial HVAC service department consisting of 3 Team Leads, approximately 50 service technicians, and a Dispatch Manager
• Oversee HVAC service operations, technician management, field service activities, and service dispatch
• Manage bids, estimates, HVAC service estimating, and related service proposals
• Oversee payroll and service department profitability
• Support service department growth and operational planning
• Handle high-level customer service matters for commercial and industrial HVAC customers
• Partner with the sales team on service opportunities and customer needs

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of commercial HVAC experience
• HVAC service management experience
• In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Experience reading and interpreting HVAC technical manuals, electrical schematics, and control circuits
• Experience managing HVAC service technicians and service operations
• Experience with customer service and service sales within commercial HVAC or mechanical service operations

Compensation:

• Compensation for this position will include a base salary in the 135k - 175k/year range, depending on experience, as well as bonus opportunity. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, 401k, PTO, car allowance, and much more.
