About the role
Picture your day: you start with a quick huddle to balance the schedule, confirm safety priorities, and align field resources with customer commitments. By mid‑morning, you’re coaching a Lead Service Technician on a complex startup, then reviewing documentation quality and closing the loop on yesterday’s escalations. After lunch, you meet with the Equipment Sales team to plan execution for upcoming projects, and wrap the afternoon by riding along for a site observation, reinforcing safe work practices and mentoring a newer technician. Throughout, you’re the bridge between field teams and service leadership—keeping the operation safe, efficient, and customer‑focused.
What you’ll do
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable HVAC Field Service Technicians and Lead Service Technicians within your division.
- Direct daily field operations so work is executed safely, on time, and to company standards.

- Track performance, productivity, service quality, and documentation standards to hit divisional targets.
- Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement through meetings, observations, and corrective actions.
- Develop technicians via coaching, reviews, training, goal setting, and certification support; identify skill gaps and growth paths with Lead Service Technicians.
- Audit and maintain tooling, equipment, and service vehicle inventories.
- Routinely review work reports and documentation for timeliness, accuracy, consistency, and communication quality.
- Foster strong customer relationships by quickly resolving concerns and escalated service issues.
- Surface and drive opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery, and workforce utilization.
- Collaborate closely with Service Leadership, Sales, and Administrative teams to strengthen coordination and communication.
- Meet regularly with Equipment Sales to plan upcoming work, align project goals, and refine execution strategies.
