The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Louisville, KY. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Details:
• Pay: $25.00/hour to Start!
• 11-month contract assignment
• Mondays may require an earlier start time to ensure payroll is processed on time
• Immediate need with interviews beginning ASAP
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee payroll processing and attendance management
• Provide administrative HR support for plant employees and leadership
• Support employee engagement initiatives, company events, food drives, and community programs
• Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities
• Administer internal job postings and bid processes
• Maintain employee records and process HR transactions within HRIS systems
• Provide workforce management, payroll, benefits, and HR process guidance to employees
• Support employee benefits administration and enrollment activities
• Generate reports and maintain confidential HR documentation
• Assist with process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with HR team members to support business and employee needs
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, or HR Administration experience
• Experience with Workday, ADP, Kronos, or other HRIS systems required
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize urgent business needs and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting a unionized workforce
• Shared Services or HR Contact Center experience
• Bilingual in Spanish or French
• Ability to influence stakeholders and support decision-making
