Onsite - Temporary Position (Must live in Oklahoma City area)
I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The Human Resources Recruiter – Temporary supports full-cycle talent acquisition efforts and assists in optimizing recruitment processes. Under the direction of a supervisor, this role focuses on the efficient and effective movement of a high volume of positions through the hiring pipeline while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
The Human Resources Recruiter – Temporary collaborates with internal stakeholders as directed to meet organizational recruitment goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all phases of the recruitment process as assigned, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, with an emphasis on consistently advancing a high volume of requisitions.
- Implement strategies to attract top talent, including posting and optimizing job advertisements and supporting a positive candidate experience.
- Collaborate with external advertisers as needed to support the placement and management of job postings, ensuring positions are accurately represented across relevant platforms.
- Work with hiring managers as directed by the supervisor to understand recruitment needs and support alignment with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and an interview panel, managing logistics efficiently across a high volume of active requisitions.
- Communicate with candidates consistently throughout the recruitment process, providing timely status updates, next steps, and disposition notifications to ensure a professional candidate experience.
- Communicate and provide regular updates to hiring managers on candidate status, pipeline progress, and any changes or developments related to their open positions.
- Manage job requisitions in Workday, including opening, updating, and closing requisitions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support the offer management process.
- Initiate and track pre-employment steps such as background checks, ensuring timely completion and accurate recordkeeping.
- Use organizational technology tools to manage recruitment workflows and maintain accurate records, primarily including Workday and the Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Forms, Lists, OneDrive, OneNote, and Planner).
- Maintain and update a recruitment tracking list/spreadsheet on a daily basis, ensuring accurate and current data on all active positions, candidate status, and pipeline progress.
- Coordinate with the Communications team, as assigned, to support targeted social media campaigns for hard-to-fill roles.
- Prepare and submit regular recruitment status updates and tracking reports as requested by the supervisor.
- Follow established recruitment SOPs with precision and consistency, adhering to all process steps, documentation requirements, and timelines as outlined.
- Maintain working knowledge of HR compliance requirements and ensure all assigned recruitment activities meet legal and policy standards.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to reduce inefficiencies in recruitment workflows to the supervisor.
- Represent HR at agency events as assigned, supporting employer brand and community engagement efforts.
Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of professional experience in human resources management
- OR master’s degree in human resources, industrial/organizational psychology, public administration, sociology, psychology or a closely related degree plus 1 year of professional experience in human resources management
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Note: Experience which was incidental to or not a major responsibility or duty of the position shall not be accepted as qualifying experience.
- Human resources management experience should include at least one of the following: job analysis, position classification, wage/salary and benefits administration, civil rights administration, recruitment or payroll administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, with a focus on optimizing recruitment processes for efficiency, effectiveness, and achieving recruitment goals.
- Expertise in leveraging recruitment technologies and tools, including applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday) and the Microsoft 365 suite, to streamline and optimize recruitment workflows.
- Certifications in any of the following areas: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Note: Expected Start Date 09/01/2026 Expected End Date This position is temporary with a duration of 6-12 months. Position is Onsite (Oklahoma City, Ok 73105).
This is a full-time in-office position, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
