The Human Resources (HR) Generalist manages various aspects of the HR function of an Eataly store including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, training, interpretation of policies, performance management, employee relations and terminations. Reports to the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).
Collaborates with the HRBP to deploy a fully integrated People strategy from acquisition to exit
Executes all aspects of the recruitment process using the Applicant Tracking System: sources candidates; screens and selects candidates for advancement in the hiring process; coordinates interviews; collects feedback; manages candidate experience and follow up
Organizes in-store hiring events and participates in external job fairs
Provides training to hiring managers on the Applicant Tracking System and effective interviewing
Prepares employees for proper cultural assimilation through onboarding and new hire orientation
Serves as a fairness advocate and manages employee relations issues: conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations, hearing and resolving employee grievances; counsels employees and supervisors
Works with managers to make coaching and development of employees a daily activity
Collaborates with Corporate to build and implement trainings for employees
Drives awareness and adoption of broad benefits offerings at Eataly
Conducts and analyzes exit interviews to identify and recommend improvements to existing processes
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements
Supports the HRBP with metrics and data analysis
Performs other duties as required or assigned
Salary Range for this role: $70,000 - $75,000 annually
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of HR experience, preferably in retail and/or hospitality
Understanding of all components of HR including systems, databases and metrics
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
Fluency in Spanish preferred
