What Youll Do as an HR Generalist: The HR Generalist supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department by providing essential administrative, recruiting, and employee-support services. This role ensures accuracy and timeliness of HR data, maintains compliance documentation, facilitate new hire orientation, coordinates onboarding and offboarding tasks, and provides operational support to Sr. HR Partners and the broader organization. Key Responsibilities Facilitate new hire orientation both in-person and virtually, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and compliant onboarding experience across all locations.Conduct New Employee Orientation sessions and serve as the primary HR presenter.Travel to branch locations as needed to deliver orientation and onboarding support.Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and required competencies for Tier 1 positions.Create and manage job postings within the applicant tracking system.Screen applications and evaluate candidate qualifications against established criteria.Prepare, extend, and process employment offers in alignment with compensation guidelines.Provide recruiting process guidance to ensure timely and compliant hiring decisions.Administer HR programs including FMLA support, payroll support, compensation changes, benefits administration, PTO tracking, and performance management processes.Serve as backup payroll processor in partnership with the Senior Total Rewards Analyst.Serve as backup administrator for the HR mailbox.Review and process employee data changes including promotions, transfers, terminations, compensation updates, and supervisor changes.Coordinate employee offboarding activities.Assist with employment verifications and compliance documentation.Support engagement, recognition, HR technology, and process improvement initiatives.Provide mail room support when needed.Complete compliance trainingincluding BSAwithin required timelinesPerform additional tasks as assigned to support HR operations
