What Youll Do

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for employee relations matters across assigned locations.
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance, corrective action, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.
  • Support employees by answering questions regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and workplace concerns.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and mediate workplace disputes to promote a respectful and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and documentation.
  • Partner with operational leaders to identify workforce challenges and implement proactive solutions.
  • Assist with performance management processes, investigations, corrective actions, and terminations.
  • Support onboarding, training, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Deliver training programs related to employee relations, workplace behavior, compliance, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Participate in special projects and strategic HR initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience with a strong focus on employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to conduct workplace investigations and manage sensitive employee relations matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and HR teams.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territory as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Multi-site HR support experience.
  • Experience supporting operations, hospitality, food service, retail, distribution, or service-based industries.
  • Formal training or certification in mediation, conflict resolution, or workplace investigations.
