Human Resources Administrative Assistant | Temporary Opportunity Location: Tampa, FL | Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (6–8 weeks) | Work Setting: Onsite Position Overview We are partnering with a respected organization in the Tampa area to identify a Human Resources Administrative Assistant for a short-term assignment. This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact support role where you will help keep day-to-day HR operations organized, responsive, and running smoothly.

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Human Resources team, including data entry, filing, and document management
  • Assist with onboarding activities and help ensure new hire paperwork is completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain employee records and support the accuracy and organization of HR databases
  • Support recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews and communicating professionally with candidates
  • Assist with benefits-related administration and respond to employee questions with professionalism and discretion
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other HR documentation to support department needs
  • Manage incoming calls and emails and route inquiries to the appropriate contacts
  • Help maintain compliance with internal policies, procedures, and HR documentation standards
  • Perform general office support tasks such as scanning, copying, and organizing files
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of administrative experience, ideally within Human Resources or a related office environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A professional, dependable approach and the ability to handle confidential information with care
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow through on tasks
Preferred Skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  • Prior experience supporting an HR department is strongly desired
Additional Details
  • This is a temporary assignment expected to last 6 to 8 weeks
  • Immediate availability is strongly preferred
  • Position is onsite in the Tampa area
