HSE Engineer

HSE Engineer | Manufacturing | $70K-$85K + Growth Opportunity

I'm partnering with a global manufacturer to identify an HSE Engineer who is passionate about workplace safety, environmental compliance, and building a strong safety culture within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to lead site-wide Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives while partnering closely with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement.

Compensation

• $70,000-$85,000 base salary

What You'll Do

• Lead Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across the facility

• Drive compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards

• Conduct risk assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), audits, and incident investigations

• Develop and deliver HSE training programs that strengthen employee engagement and awareness

• Partner with operations and engineering teams to improve workplace safety and environmental performance

• Manage corrective actions, compliance initiatives, and regulatory reporting requirements

• Serve as the site's subject matter expert for safety, environmental, and risk management programs

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field

• 5+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety management systems

• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards

• Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Hands-on approach with the ability to influence safety culture at all levels of the organization
