This open competitive] advertisement is for a SES (Selected Exempt Service) position located in central office within the Office of Human Resources.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the Florida Department of Corrections can effectively, lawfully, and strategically hire, onboard, and support staff through comprehensive talent acquisition, compliance oversight, data management, and partnership with leadership.
This position is not a remote position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

Please note, when submitting a college/university degree, if selected for this position official transcripts will be required.
Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Must have at least two years of relevant human resources experience.
Preference may be given to candidates with experience in the State of Florida Personnel System. (Experience limited to performing general HR-related functions may not be considered as direct HR experience.) a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for one year of the required two years of experience.;
Must have experience reviewing and processing information from multiple documents and various sources to prepare an official document.
Must have proven ability to calculate basic mathematical calculations, including percentages and salary calculations.
Must be willing and able to work in office Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
A work sample will be required in order to move to the next step in the recruitment process.
Support of knowledge, skills, and abilities should be demonstrated on the application, the resume, in the work sample, and in the interview and/or during reference checks.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
