We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of human resources for our movers and administrative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, particularly within the gig or on-demand economy, and will be responsible for overseeing the recruiting/onboarding process, managing movers, developing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Oversee the recruitment and selection process.
Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, including insurance and safety regulations.
Maintain and update employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
Conduct performance reviews and manage performance management processes.
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits.
Monitor and manage HR metrics, such as turnover rates and satisfaction scores.
Foster a positive working environment and ensure ongoing professional development for the administrative team.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Requirements:
At least 4 years of proven working experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably within the gig or on-demand economy.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Master’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
Excellent knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
