    Description

    The HR Manager will play a key role in the launch and ongoing operation of a new manufacturing facility. This position will help establish the site’s workforce, HR infrastructure, and employee practices while supporting the day-to-day HR needs of a growing manufacturing operation.


    The ideal candidate has strong HR generalist and manager-level experience, in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment. This role requires someone who can work hands-on, build structure in a new site environment, and partner effectively with operations, employees, and leadership.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead HR activities for site launch, including workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and communications
    • Support high-volume hiring across production, warehouse, technical, and professional roles
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment and staffing vendor relationships
    • Establish and standardize HR policies, procedures, and site practices
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, performance, and policy matters
    • Partner cross-functionally with operations, safety, payroll, and corporate HR
    • Support onboarding, training readiness, and workforce planning
    • Oversee core HR functions including employee relations, benefits, leave administration, payroll support, and compliance
    • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure audit readiness
    • Drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience


    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
    • 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
    • Experience supporting a new site launch, startup, or rapid growth environment
    • Strong HR generalist background across employee relations, recruiting, compliance, and HR operations
    • Experience with high-volume hiring and workforce planning
    • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to build structure and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred
    • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

    Location may be subject to business needs, with potential consideration for Texas, North Carolina, or Georgia.
