This is a floor-focused leadership role for an assertive HR professional who thrives in fast-paced logistics environments and excels at managing high-turnover hourly teams.

    • On-Site HR Ownership: Lead day-to-day HR operations across the warehouse floor, acting as the primary on-site authority for employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
    • Policy Enforcement & Accountability: Consistently enforce attendance rules, workplace policies, safety standards, and progressive discipline (including investigations, write-ups, and terminations).
    • Workforce & Agency Oversight: Manage hourly direct-hire employees and third-party temporary staffing agency talent, driving labor quality, time tracking, and agency accountability.
    • Compliance & Record-Keeping: Ensure strict adherence to federal and state labor laws, I-9 verification, audit-ready employee files, workers' compensation processing, wage garnishments, and payroll compliance.
    • Operational Alignment: Partner with operations management to track attendance metrics, curb absenteeism, optimize headcount allocation, and improve workforce retention.
    • Payroll & Benefits Coordination: Support payroll processing, time-and-attendance tracking, open enrollment, and benefits administration for hourly and salaried personnel.
    Qualifications & Requirements
    • 5+ years of dedicated HR experience in a high-volume warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing facility.
    • Bilingual Fluency (English / Spanish Required) with the ability to communicate directly, clearly, and authoritatively with frontline personnel.
    • Strong working knowledge of U.S. labor law, workplace safety regulations, workers' compensation administration, and I-9/E-Verify compliance.
    • Proven track record of managing high-volume hourly workforces, temporary staffing vendor relationships, and high-pressure employee relations scenarios.
    • Direct, firm, and fair communication style with the ability to handle tough conversations and push back professionally when necessary.
    • High presence on the warehouse floor-comfortable working daily in an active operational environment.
