The HR Generalist Marketing & Communications (HRG) provides human resources services and support with one or more of the following functions: employee relations, compensation, talent management, benefits, payroll, staff development and training, organizational development and recruiting.

We're Looking for You:

The HR Generalist partners with MAC HR Team to ensure accurate, timely and consistent execution of HR processes and policies. The HR Generalist is the primary front-line HR contact for staff and managers managing day-to-day HR inquiries and providing transactional support. Reports to Sr HR Manager.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Support maintaining staff actions in HR systems (Workday).
  • Maintain and audit records of personnel-related data to ensure all employment requirements are met and maintained accurately.
  • Support Employee onboarding process including assisting with preparing employment agreements and hiring paperwork.
  • Support offboarding processes.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports and dashboards identifying issues/trends and to measure progress.
  • Assist assigned recruiters and hiring managers, as needed, with recruitments including reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, data tracking, and providing process assistance and advice.

Employee Support & Compliance

  • Support with benefits and leave administration guidance.
  • Administration of location changes, personal move requests, home office updates.
  • Respond to internal and external human resources-related inquiries or requests in a timely and effective manner.
  • Support training and development opportunities and employee engagement initiatives.

Communication & Team Support

  • Assist with delivering general HR communications, updates, and reminders.
  • Partner with AO Central Functions HR team on initiatives and projects.
  • Partner with People Team centers of excellence on shared objectives.
  • Maintain confidentiality concerning personnel and other organizational information.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years HR related work experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience responding to HR related questions and problems from employees/management.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: database management and spreadsheet software; constructing and producing reports; data input, manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience working with MS Office software, HR information systems and analytics tools.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating HR operational activities involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Broad understanding of fundamental HR concepts, processes, and services.
  • Candidates in Eastern or Central time zone preferred

Salary Information:

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $59,179 - $88,644. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
