Description

Trigyn's direct client has a contract to hire opportunity (Temp to Perm full-time) for HR Generalist in Baltimore, MD (Onsite/Hybrid). The particulars of the position are as follows.

 

NOTE:
• Onsite/Hybrid work (Baltimore, MD 21202).
• Only Local candidates preferred (within driving distance).

 

Description:
This role is heavily administrative and operational, with a strong emphasis on high-volume recruitment coordination, vendor/subcontractor onboarding, HR communications, Workday and payroll support, and class & compensation documentation.

 

The HR Operations & Recruitment Coordinator will work closely with the Recruiter, HR Business Partner, and broader HR team to ensure seamless hiring processes, compliant onboarding, accurate HR documentation, and timely HR service delivery across the agency.

Job Responsibilities

Human Resources Generalist responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

 

Recruitment Coordination & Candidate Support
• Provide primary administrative support to the Recruiter, coordinating high-volume interview scheduling across client.
• Communicate directly with candidates, hiring managers, and vendors to provide timely updates and resolve scheduling or process issues.
• Prepare accurate offer letters and onboarding packets.
• Facilitate pre-hire tasks, including background screenings, Workday account creation, and documentation collection.
• Support job postings, candidate movement tracking, and coordination with HR.

 

Vendor & Subcontractor Onboarding
• Manage onboarding processes for vendor contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with client standards.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and communication throughout their onboarding and placement cycle.

 

HR Inbox Management & Communications
• Rotate monitoring of the HR inbox, responding to all inquiries within 24–48 hours.
• Draft clear, policy-compliant mass messages and FTE communications, documenting all agency-wide HR reminders for compliance and transparency.

 

Workday & Payroll Cross-Functional Coverage
• Serve as trained backup for payroll and Workday operations when primary staff are out.
• Maintain accuracy in entries, ensure compliance with fiscal policies, and support troubleshooting of basic HRIS matters.

 

Onboarding Support & First-Year Experience Program
• Assist with delivery and refinement of onboarding processes, ensuring consistency with client standards.
• Support coordination of onboarding sessions for new hires and managers.
• Help maintain the employee experience program-administer 30/60/90-day and probationary check-ins and support stay and exit interviews.
• Compile feedback and prepare retention insights for HR leadership.

 

Class & Compensation Administrative Support
• Assist HR Business Partner by preparing documentation for class & comp actions, including:
• Position creations
• Reclassification requests
• In-range adjustments
• Overlap documentation
• Organize and submit complete packets, ensuring compliance with HR requirements.

 

Recruitment Marketing & Events
• Maintain LinkedIn job postings and create recruitment flyers for outreach.
• Represent client at job fairs, providing information on priority roles.
• General HR Administrative Duties
• Conduct research, compile data, and prepare narrative and statistical reports.
• Maintain accurate HR records and uphold confidentiality in all HR-related processes.
• Support ad-hoc HR projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of experience in progressive and strategic human resources administration

 

Equivalencies
• An equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of graduate course work in human resources management, business administration or public policy from an accredited college or university may be substituted for each year of the experience requirement

 

Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing the full cycle interview scheduling process for a recruitment department as a Recruitment or Talent Acquisition Coordinator
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to move with a sense of urgent in fulfilling high-priority tasks
• Previous experience coordinating an internship program and onboarding interns.
