Job Summary:

 

We’re looking for an organized, service-focused HR Coordinator to support our teammates throughout the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on onboarding, benefits, leave administration, and day-to-day HR operations.

 

In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted resource for new and current teammates, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, timely support, accurate HR records, and responsive benefits and leave administration.

 

This position is on-site in our Franklin, TN Cool Springs office

 

 

Responsibilities:

Onboarding & HR Operations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process.
  • Coordinate background checks, offer letters, HRIS setup, I-9 and E-Verify, and new-hire documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in UKG Pro and conduct regular data audits.
  • Develop and improve onboarding materials, training, and resources.
  • Manage HR email and phone inquiries and provide timely, professional support to teammates.
  • Assist with HR meetings, training sessions, audits, reports, and special projects.
  • Support employment verifications, unemployment claims, and compliance activities, including OIG and visa audits.

 

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Benefits Inbox, responding to teammate and provider questions regarding health, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, 401(k), life insurance, disability, wellness, and other benefits.
  • Research and resolve benefits questions using HRIS records, plan documents, carrier portals, and vendor resources.
  • Manage benefits cases from initial inquiry through resolution, coordinating with carriers, brokers, vendors, and internal partners as needed.
  • Support annual Open Enrollment, qualifying life events, eligibility audits, dependent verification, and other benefits initiatives.
  • Administer Leave of Absence processes and provide initial guidance on FMLA, state leave programs, military leave, personal leave, disability, and workplace accommodations.
  • Develop and maintain benefits and leave procedures, templates, job aids, and other resources to ensure consistent service.
Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources function providing administrative support, with experience in benefits administration a plus, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and leave administration.
  • 1+ year of experience managing pre-employment background checks, including E-Verify
  • Experience working with UKG HCM/UKG Pro is a definite plus.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting FMLA, ADA accommodations, disability claims, or leave of absence administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently research and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
